Our intimate events are thougthtfully curated with every detail in mind so that Black women can have a safe and beautiful space to gather and discuss mental health.

We wanted to be intentional about creating a space where Black women can care for their wellness and mental health in more ways than one. That is why our retail space features products created by Black women.

It’s been a minute since I shared a behind the scenes moment with you all.

Right now, I am in the stage of sustaining my dream life. I built it. Now I am learning how to sustain it.

I keep getting asked, “What’s next?” And honestly, I am trying to be content with where I am right now.

One day, I will have a full team. One day, The Sisters’ Couch will be bigger. But right now, I am allowing myself to be present in this moment and build at a pace that keeps me healthy.

I am not rushing past the life I prayed for just to prove that I can build something bigger.

Caregiving may look like managing appointments, helping with medication, preparing meals, providing transportation, handling bills, offering personal care, or being someone’s consistent emotional support.

This month, we are highlighting Kelly Robinson, MS, LPC, CCTP of Crescent Roots Psychological Services.

Kelly works with children, adolescents, and adults and brings experience from child welfare and human services. Her approach includes CBT, trauma focused CBT, DBT, positive psychology, and a systemic lens. She focuses on creating a safe, empathic, and transparent space where clients feel heard and supported as they build healthier emotional and behavioral patterns.

The Gathering Table was created to be a third space. A place to come when you need a change of scenery, when the world feels too loud, when working from home feels isolating, or when you simply want to be in the presence of community.

Monica creates a compassionate, culturally responsive, and stigma-free space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported.

She specializes in supporting Black women and provides mental health assessments, medication management, and psychiatric care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.

Her holistic approach blends evidence-based treatment with cultural sensitivity to support healing and growth.
