About the event
Who takes care of the caregiver?
Painting and Processing is an intimate gathering created for caregivers to slow down, create, and be cared for in community. During this experience, participants will engage in a guided painting activity while taking part in meaningful conversations about the emotional, mental, and relational challenges that often accompany caregiving.
Together, we will process topics such as burnout, guilt, identity shifts, boundaries, grief, joy, and the invisible labor that many caregivers carry every day. The evening will be facilitated by a mental health professional with experience supporting Black women and holding space for authentic, compassionate dialogue.
No painting skills are necessary. This experience is about expression, reflection, and connection rather than perfection. Whether you are caring for children, aging parents, family members, clients, or your community, you deserve space to be poured into as well.
